NRA Chief Range Safety Officer candidates should be experienced shooters, involved in many aspects of target shooting, training, and range supervision.

The NRA encourages active shooters to learn more and become responsible for the safety of fellow shooters through this program.

Sessions include training RSOs, standard operating procedures, inspections, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, safety briefings. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises and complete an open book exam.

The deposit is due within 7 days of registration.
